    441/5000 The architecturally impressive bridge of the Western Link has the handprint of Ramboll. We have designed structural solutions for an environmentally artistic bridge solution that also provides a safe light traffic connection to the city center. The demanding geometry of the bridge was acquired through 3D modeling. Ramboll has also been involved in the design of the light traffic route Baana, which runs in the old Railway Trail from Jätkäsaari to around Finlandia Hall.

    Currently, there are no tools available to help traffic safety experts to work objectively and efficiently. Decisions are made reactively, not proactively, causing unnecessary and costly accidents. Accident data doesn’t tell all. Collecting and interpreting the needed data is time consuming expert intensive work.

    SafetyWize methodology uses machine learning to predict and give insights in accident likelihood, bringing safer road environments by showing and explaining dangerous locations based on real-world data and expert knowledge.
