The successful candidate will hold a master’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering and have 6–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in offshore pipeline design for the oil and gas, hydrogen and CO2, as well as onshore pipelines, landfalls, offshore power cable design, routing and installation.     You will join our Pipeline department within the Energy – Solutions for Industry

    You will be part of a department with many interesting projects such as traditional gas infrastructure pipelines and facilities, as well as the green transition, with a growing portfolio of Hydrogen and CO2 pipelines, as well as submarine cables to offshore wind farms. We perform the design work for the pipelines and cables in the department, and cover all phases of the projects, from Feasibility to FEED to Detailed design, as well as site supervision, so you will be able to see the result of your work directly applied in construction onshore and offshore

    Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

    • Pipeline engineering, including Client Interfaces, Third Party Comments resolution
    • Experience in Rigid and Flexible pipelines are considered
    • Knowledge of pipeline design software such as SIMLA, OrcaFlex
    • Natural Gas, H2 and CO2 pipeline design
    • Pipeline Cost Estimating
    • Pipeline FEA Analysis
    • Subsea power cable design and management
    • Mechanical and Installation Analysis / Design
    • Landfall Design (for pipelines and cables)
    • Project Report writing and presentations
    • Support on Proposals / Tendering, preparation of CTRs (budgeting and estimation)
    • Master’s degree in Structural, Mechanical or a related field
    • Good understanding of structural design and marine environment
    • Previous work experience in design of offshore pipelines
    • Good understanding of offshore pipeline mechanical design related disciplines, incl. associated standards (DNV, etc)
    • Proficiency in using FEA tools, programming, and flare for exploring AI implementations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Strong oral and written skills in English
